At Cowboy Capital Ventures (CCV), we believe a great hunt is about more than what you bring home. It’s about the early mornings, the anticipation before shooting light, the friendships built in the blind, and the memories that stay with you long after the season ends. Located in Dublin, Texas, CCV is dedicated to providing hunters with an enjoyable, memorable, and authentic Texas hunting experience. Our goal is to make every guest feel welcome, make the most of every moment in the field, and create an experience worth coming back for year after year.
At CCV, we understand that every hunter brings something different to the field. Whether you have spent a lifetime hunting or are looking to experience a guided hunt for the first time, we want you to feel right at home. We strive to create an atmosphere built on hospitality, preparation, and a shared passion for the outdoors. What makes Cowboy Capital Ventures different is our belief that the memories made during a hunt deserve to be captured, not just remembered. CCV offers a unique opportunity to have a photographer accompany your hunt, capturing the action, the scenery, the excitement, and the moments that make each trip special. Guests have the opportunity to purchase photographs from their hunt and take home lasting reminders of their experience. With your permission, you may also have the opportunity to be featured in CCV social media content and YouTube videos, giving you a chance to relive the experience and share your story with others who love the outdoors.

Hunter Murphy
Guide
From Stephenville, Texas, Hunter Murphy brings nearly two decades of waterfowl hunting experience and approximately seven years of professional guiding experience to every hunt.
Hunter earned his degree in Wildlife Conservation and Ecosystem Sciences from Tarleton State University, giving him a strong educational foundation and a deeper understanding of waterfowl, wildlife management, and the habitats these birds depend on.
With 20 years of experience in the blind, Hunter has developed a keen ability to read changing weather conditions, understand bird behavior, strategically set decoys, and work birds into range. His goal is to provide every group with a well-planned, enjoyable, and successful hunt.
Whether you're an experienced waterfowler or joining us for your first hunt, you can expect Hunter to work hard, keep the atmosphere fun, and do everything he can to give your crew a memorable experience in the field, and, hopefully, a full strap heading home.
Avery Hughes
Social Media, Photography and Video
Avery Hughes is the social media strategist, photographer, and videographer for Cowboy Capital Ventures. She is from Hardin, Texas, and has had a passion for hunting and the outdoors for as long as she can remember. She is currently pursuing a degree in Agricultural Communications at Tarleton State University and has spent the past four years working in photography and videography.
At CCV, Avery gets to combine her love for the outdoors with her creativity by managing social media, capturing photos and videos, and sharing the stories behind our hunts and outdoor experiences. She believes hunting is about more than the harvest. It's about the traditions, the people, and the memories made along the way. Through her work, she captures those moments and helps create lasting memories for our customers.
Local Country
We hunt cattle ponds, agricultural fields and surrounding properties in and around Dublin, Texas, where the birds actually want to be.
Room for the Crew
Duck hunts run 4 to 10 hunters. Dove hunts take up to 20, which makes them a good fit for corporate outings and family trips.
Dogs and Cleaning
Bird dogs work our duck and dove hunts, animal cleaning is included, and you keep the meat.
